Apple in My Pocket

WRITTEN BY: ANT MCNAUGHT

Apple in my pocket.
Apple of my eye.
I’m gonna love her till I die.

There is a robin on my window
sings a lullaby,
so sweetly I could cry.

Trouble on my doorstep.
Well, how should I know why?
I know it’s gonna pass me by.

We lay beside the river
and the clouds go drifting by.
She whispers something to me. I reply.

I’ve got an apple in my pocket
and she is the apple of my eye.
I’m gonna love her till I die.
